About this site

The earliest incarnation of davebgimp.com was started in 2001 and consisted entirely of substandard Flash animation. Years later, this site is now essentially just a blog with some photos.

This site was created using Vim, GIMP, WordPress and Xampp. All are GPL licensed, Open Source resources and daveb highly recommends taking the time to check them out. Daveb has done his damnedest to ensure that this site, as much as possible, follows the W3C’s standards for valid XHTML and CSS.
