Translation:

This morning, while I was perusing through addons.mozilla.org and slurping down coffee in bleary fog earned from staying up way too late, I noticed a Firefox extension called Bork Bork Bork! written by Anthony Howe that allows you to translate the text of any web page into bork-speak, in other words to make it read like it was written by the Swedish Chef from the Muppet show fame.

The Swedish Chef having being my all-time favorite muppet, I was compelled to install it immediately and since then have been borking all morning long in giddy delight. This extension rules.

Land of the Lost movie

Monday, April 25th, 2005

SleestakDaveb had a major flashback today when he read that a Land of the Lost movie is in the works. Upon further reading, he noted it was to star Will Ferril and to be written by an ex-SNL writer. He supposes it’s safe to guess it’s going to be a comedy, which kind of sucks. But anyway, after being reminded of his all-time favorite television show as a child, he did some googling and found this fansite, which overall kind of sucks but has links to the theme song. There’s not much out there concerning the show, but rather than give up, daveb decided to see if by chance it had made it to DVD. Amazingly enough, Netflix had all three seasons, which he immediately added to his queue.

Daveb lived for that television show. The Sleestaks were just plain awesome and he had the hardcore hots for the Holly, the blond girl with the pet baby dinosaur.
